Oversized ER collets ER8 - ER50 class 2 (15-20 µm)

Features: Oversized ER collets (> DIN) similar to DIN ISO 15488B class 2 (15-20µm run-out).

  • collapse: max. 0.2 mm below the nominal size
  • Collet length < DIN (the larger the clamping diameter, the shorter the clamping length)
  • The clamping force is slightly less than that of a standard ER collet.
  • Spring steel, hardened and ground
  • all listed Ø also available on request in high-precision (10µm) and ultra-precision (5µm)

Application : For clamping tools with cylindrical shanks in ER chucks according to DIN ISO 15488 (formerly DIN 6499).
